Currently, Doshisha seeks to admit 20 students to its three-year program and 50 to its two-year program. Our admission policy focuses on attracting sensitive, well-educated, richly humanistic students who have a strong ambition to serve the nation as legal professionals in the future. While the majority of our students enter the Law School directly after graduating from university, we also attract a significant number of applicants who have employment or other post-university experience. Our admission requirements and financial support system are intended to ensure that applicants from almost any social, economic or educational background can enter our program and become a legal professional. In its admission decisions Doshisha Law School does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, nationality, gender, religion or any physical disability.
